What do you miss the most about Muckross? 
" Honestly, I miss the complete lack of major life responsibilities. In the grand scheme of things, school days were such a carefree stress-free time "

" I loved the relationship between students & teachers from 4th year onwards into senior cycle. There’s a change of dynamic where you are from then on treated like adults. You can have the same laughs with the teachers that you’d have with your friends, it was such a nice time "

Advice for your 18 year old self:
" The leaving cert & 6th year might seem like the most important thing in your life right now but in all honestly there’s so much more out there in the world beyond it. What is for you won’t pass you " 💚

What Shannon is up to now:
" I’m living in Brisbane, Australia, which honestly still feels like a dream.. I initially came here to study for a short time in 2016. I just fell in love with the place so I moved here & now working full-time. I’m currently in the process of getting ready to apply for permanent residency too which is just crazy! "
