" I laughed every day for six years "
" [I miss] the craic. I am glad to say I am still very close friends now with practically everyone I was 'hanging around with' then. Also [miss] the variety in the day - every 40 minutes focusing on something completely different "
" On our very last day, the late [Legend] Sr. Barnabas plucked a few of us away from the gaggle of excited girls & brought us along the Science corridor to the part of the building we were never allowed enter. She showed us to a lift (who knew!) & handed each of us a coconut cream (this actually happened). We wooshed up to the roof where she presented to us the amazing view of the Dublin Mountains & its environs. As we drank in the panorama, our eyes were drawn closer to home, to the 'back field' where you could see everyone & everything. They had obviously been able to keep a very sharp eye on us at all times! "
Advice for her 6th year self:
" 18 is too young to necessarily know what you want to do for the rest of your life. I think take a year off, work or travel, get to know who you really are & have a big think before you launch in to years of study. There is no rush. A lot of my friends have been back to college in their late 30s & early 40s "
FUN FACT: Niamh had her 15 minutes of fame when her house was featured on RTÉ's Home of the Year a couple of years ago Fab!
" I am an Interior Stylist & Home Consultant living by the sea in County Wicklow. I travel all over the country for work, I'm on a mission to rid Ireland of magnolia & grey!! l specialise in paint colour, helping people to have the courage to use their homes to express themselves. I absolutely love what I do, & for that I am blessed, though it took me years to find my niche "
