Annual Lunch 2026

We were delighted to see so many of you at the Muckross PPU Lunch this year, and we hope you all enjoyed the day. We would also like to thank all of you who donated to our Muckross Benevolent Fund. This fund supports any past pupil who may find themselves in a difficult situation.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Susan Maguire, class of 1996, Managing Director of Massey Bros., who sponsored the prosecco reception and wine for the lunch. We would also like to thank Siofra O’Leary, class of 1986, for her entertaining after-lunch speech. She had us laughing and crying into our wine!

We are the oldest school Union in the country and it is vital to keep the connections going. We would also welcome any past pupils who could offer TY work experience or internships, so that our most recent past pupils can get in touch and we can build a database for the school. We have had two girls offer to join our PPU Committee. If anyone else would like to join, please email us at muckrossppu@outlook.com.

Unfortunately, our Choir could not sing on Saturday because the Musical Director had had a baby just a few days earlier. If you might be interested in joining the Choir in September (the men in your life included!), you can register your interest for joining in September by emailing muckrossadultchoir@gmail.com. The Choir rehearses in the school on Monday evenings from 7.00 to 8.30 pm, and it is very relaxed – no auditions!

Annual Lunch 2025

Our Muckross Park PPU Annual Lunch took place on 5th April 2025 in the lovely surroundings of the UCD University Club, and it turned out to be such a gorgeous afternoon.

It was just brilliant to see so many familiar faces — and plenty of new ones too. Past pupils from all years came along, and that mix of generations is really what makes the day so special. There’s something lovely about catching up with old friends, swapping school stories, or simply having a good laugh with people you haven’t seen in ages.

The Muckross Adult Choir kicked things off beautifully during the drinks reception, giving the whole event a warm, celebratory feel from the start.

Thanks so much to everyone who came along and made it such a fun and memorable lunch. Already looking forward to next year!

Annual Lunch 2024

The PPU Annual Lunch took place on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, and once again, the venue was the UCD University Club in Belfield Campus, Dublin 4.
